Leviticus 20:13 or STFU

Leviticus 20:13

This is almost identical to Leviticus 18:22. In transliterated Hebrew, the verse is written: “V’ish asher yishkav et zachar mishk’vei ishah to’evah asu shneihem mot yumatu d’meihem bam.”

However, it adds a compulsory death penalty to the participants.

In various translations the passage has been translated:

• ASV: (American Standard Version, 1901) “And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
• Darby: (J.N. Darby Translation, 1890): “And if a man lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall certainly be put to death; their blood is upon them.”
• ESV: (English Standard Version): “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.”
• HNV: (Hebrew Names Version): “If a man lies with a male, as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
• KJV: (King James Version): “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.”
• LB: (Living Bible): “The penalty for homosexual acts is death to both parties. They have brought it upon themselves.”
• NASB: (New American Standard Bible): “If {there is} a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.”
• Net Bible: “If a man has sexual intercourse with a male as one has sexual intercourse with a woman, the two of them have committed an abomination. They must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves.” ₁
• NIV: (New International Version) “If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”
• NKJV: (New King James Version) “If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.”

• Webster: (Noah Webster Version, 1833): “If a man also shall lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.”
• Young: (Robert Young Literal Translation, 1898) “And a man who lieth with a male as one lieth with a woman; abomination both of them have done; they are certainly put to death; their blood [is] on them.”

Christian Reconstructionists; Christian hate groups; religious opportunists taking advantage of several African nations’ backward, uneducated leaders and populace, and several similar backward nations in the West Indies; and Muslims worldwide, are working toward a return to the executions of gay, lesbian, intersex and transgender people.

The rest of the het supremacists simply do not say out loud that “Death to All Gays!” is what they want.

Along the way, they feel justified by those same religions to try hard to demean and torture GLIBT people, to sabotage and ruin the lives and quality of life of all GLIBT people, on behalf of their god and their religion. If they followed any of their religions it would not be dragged out.

If you are too cowardly to carry out what your religion orders — the murder of all gays — then shut the fuck up completely about what you interpret your religion says about me, because it does not matter.

Why would rational adults pay serious attention to — let alone follow — your obviously questionable modern interpretations of your religions’ ancient and questionable local laws, when you — billions of “true believers” — refuse to be bound by your own religions’ inconvenient beliefs?

Why would rational adults continue to allow you to mistreat them in the hypocritical, “do as we say, not as we do,” barely religious ways you mistreat us?

Beginning with me, I volunteer for martyrdom; either execute me face-to-face and publicly for “being gay” or “acting gay” or “being accused of being gay” — or shut the fuck up about anything to do with GLIBT people. You are dismissed. You are irrelevant and out-dated; a selfish, lapsed religionist.

Let the streets run with Queer blood. Stand up and be counted among the godly executioners.

No more invisibility, whether in Baghdad, Iraq or San Francisco, California, U.S.A., where you do your filthy work in secrecy now, making your “religious beliefs” seem like a “dark religion”.

Stack the bodies up and burn them publicly like bundles of sticks. Follow your gods’ instructions. Redeem your religions by demonstrating your beliefs and trusting your god, who will surely demonstrate his (always) pleasure with your ongoing efforts to destroy some of his favorite creative creations.

It’s simple. Follow your religion about gays or shut up about your religion and gays. They are doing it in most Islamic countries, why nowhere in Christianity?

Otherwise, cowardly hypocrite, you have no right to try to control the lives of other human beings according to your own rulebook (including the muslim version) — when you refuse to follow it yourselves — even though you claim to “believe” the book was written by your own god and your own religion.
