This pious Mormon’s religious plotting to create fake anti-Mormon episodes impresses other followers of their impotent iguana-god, and some Catholics. Anybody who gives a nickel to any cause backed by this man or supported by his current associates, or supported by anything Mormon, is my enemy.
Short version of the pitch from this highly paid disgrace; Gary Lawrence is a con artist, liar, and fraud:
We need buzz. Even negative buzz is good. Actually, negative buzz is exactly what we want. We don’t want any contention, but if you don’t get any contention, go down to the local rent-a-mob and get some protesters. We need negative local buzz.
UPDATE: This video has been pulled by the person who originally put it online. I hope to find a copy of it to put here in place of the dead YouTube link below. Googling Gary Lawrence will bring you to many sources corroborating this speech and mindset.
They seem to be everywhere these days, quoters of Bible verse Leviticus 20:13, and others they claim as death penalty sentences which modern Americans must recognize, by making GLIBT people’s lives living deaths.
They refuse to follow those verses themselves!
Leviticus 20:13 doesn’t tell Larry Adams, in the picture below at a recent Indianapolis NOM rally, to make a sign informing people what Leviticus 20:13 says.
Leviticus 20:13 doesn’t tell Larry Adams to harrass, visually frighten, embarrass, or psychologically torture gay and lesbian people, everyone who loves a gay or lesbian person — and everyday people of all ages and orientations walking by — by showing a sign meant to stimulate viewers to imagine two same-gender-loving humans being hung with those two rope nooses.
Leviticus 20:13 doesn’t say to treat the solemnity of current, ongoing state executions of human beings, mainly for murder in the U.S.A., as a cartoon joke, which Larry Adams clearly believes to be very funny.
Leviticus 20:13 says to put people to death.

Religious excuses for acting on your anti-gay bias, through incitement, harassment or other forms of violence, don’t apply if you clearly don’t believe enough to follow the exact religious rule you are citing.
Kill me as you advocate so publicly, Larry Adams, or shut the fuck up.
Your violence-inciting signs belong at Republican gatherings, where you might encourage those who will actually follow through and hang you — a gay man who is a religiously ‘x-gay’ person — as you believe you deserve, instead of bringing them to equality rallies for incitement, where you are shouting down an empty well.
“Well, that guy with the sign saying hang homosexuals can’t be a homosexual. We don’t get to — I mean — have to kill him.” You don’t think they’ll buy your little story about being a very religious “x-gay” do you? “Well…. We don’t have to…. He says he’s x-gay…. But to be safe, and ‘toward the glory of’ and all, we should be thorough.”>
Your signs will also find welcoming smiles as the decor for Peter LaBarbera’s KKK-copycat hate group meetings; “serious discussions about the soul of America and the threat it faces from the homosexualist rebellions.”
The KKK is a violent, national, Christian-based hate group with a preference for attacking non-white people, Jewish people, and gay men and lesbian women.
Peter LaBarbera and his boss, Concerned Women for America, are violent propagandizers, a national and Christian-based hate group with a preference for attacking other religions, immigrants, GLIBTs of all ages, women, anti-poverty advocates and policies, and the Democratic Party.
Concerned Women for America’s Peter LaBarbera creation, ‘Americans For Truth About Homosexuality’, is his failed pet hunting blind from which he shoots at sex with a bb gun. He’s always been focused on gay men’s sexual practices (the same sexual practices of opposite-gender couples, though Peter LaBarbera doesn’t acknowledge that all human sexual practices are universal among humans).
The KKK still holds events featuring the burning of large, wooden, Christian crosses to symbolize their fired-up Christian-based spirits. They are easily protected and easily controlled, because of the rarity of their inbred need to incite violence against other people.
Like the psychotically superstitious, religious supremacists and white supremacists seem to be most like a less-evolved human, still acting out long superseded, violent, survival-level, anti-interloper drives as seen among some ape colonies.
Religious beliefs behind public hangings and other forms of execution that Christians in the U.S.A. are eager to use to eliminate their problem with the existence of GLIBT citizens must be strictly protected and controlled too.
Our enemies want us DEAD. For now, it is important to believe them. They have earned that. Expect the assault, the attack, the legislative outrage upon you. Expect that no one will step up for you.
Legally arm yourself, as many of us as is possible. We need to become the most legally armed generation of living GLIBTs in this country for a while, so that some future generations really will be able to enjoy what we pretend to have today.
Larry Adams’ failure to obey Lev. 20:13 himself, with gays and lesbians all around, eliminates him and his fake “Cross Bearer Ministries” from using any phony religious defenses against charges of incitement. He matches Lev. 20:13 with a pair of hangman’s nooses specifically advocating murder, but isn’t willing to sacrifice for his beliefs as we are supposed to do — sacrifice for his beliefs — and carry out what the Bible specifically says to do.
Larry Adams is proudly and openly advocating the murders of an unknown number of citizens of the United States for doing nothing illegal.
This self-appointed so-called “minister” is proudly encouraging lynching.
Don’t dare to call it lynching, though. According to non-white presumed heterosexuals — as urged by white heterosexual religious supremacists to “make clear” from Zimbabwe to Uganda to Jamaica to the Caribbean, the U.S.A., Zaire, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan — protecting the equal civil rights of non-white human beings and protecting the equal civil rights of other-than-heterosexual human beings have nothing whatsoever in common.
Most non-gay, and even some more self-hating GLIBT people like Larry Adams, will be happy to tell us that we are not allowed to discuss together the protection of the equal civil rights of non-white human beings, and the protection of the equal civil rights of non-white, non-heterosexual human beings, or the protection of the equal civil rights of non-black human beings and the protection of the equal civil rights of non-heterosexual human beings.
They will defend Larry Adams for his bravery in speaking his truth, because he colors pink the targets of his murderous, religious supremacist and het supremacist psychoses, pink targets for all kinds of violence.
From my own daily struggles, I know how amazing it is that so few enraged non-hets have retaliated violently to the centuries of vile abuse, torture and murder which are being continued today around the world. Promises of change are not change. Dreams of “It gets better” do not make it better now or in the foreseeable future.
Larry Adams is inciting the general public today, with careless, craven disregard for public safety. He advocates and incites my murder every time he displays this sign in public.
Violently anti-gay — and even violently anti-christohet supremacist — feelings and emotions are incited, directly caused by his display of this pro-lynching sign. That violence can be expected to escalate with this kind of game-changer.
This is what they want: Wipe us out, and keep at it. Nothing less.
If I lived near this jackass, I might take my time, might make up several plans with backups. I might protect myself by planning for a clean getaway (maybe ducking public, ATM and building cameras all the way in and all the way out).
I might liberate the pro-lynching sign without touching the idiot holding it, and tear the fucking signs up! On camera at another site, for YouTube, if possible.
But I’m safe. I don’t live anywhere near him or the “church” he advertises on his signs. I wonder where he keeps his signs? Have they gotten that teleportation thing working yet? I am NOT flying any more, thank you DH-fucking-S and TS-fucking-A!
Petition Closed. Unsuccessful.
Uganda: Dismiss the ‘Anti-Homosexuality Bill’
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (State House Nakasero) and Honorable Opio Gabriel (Minister of Gender, Labour, and Social Affairs)
Petition Started by: CAAH (Community Action Against Homophobia)
The Ugandan government is currently considering the passage of this “Anti-Homosexuality Bill” which would have devastating consequences for that country’s LGBTI community. For their safety it is vital this bill be dismissed. That is the aim of this petition.
The bill proposes that homosexuality be made illegal with the following consequences:
1) Anyone found to be practicing homosexual acts will be punished with life imprisonment
2) Anyone practicing “aggravated homosexuality” — meaning they are homosexual and have AIDS/HIV — would be facing a death sentence (this is apparently being reviewed and may be dropped from the bill).
3) Finally, citizens who do not report known homosexual acts also receive three years imprisonment, and if they publicly support homosexuality through statement or other means, that is another four years on top of that, making seven years in total.
Besides the obvious horrible consequences for the LGBTI community and their supporters, this would also affect media freedom in their country, making less information available to needy people.
People’s willingness to seek help when they are infected with HIV would be non-existent, which could mean the disease is less discussed and spreads unspoken throughout the country, even more than its devastating current presence in the region.
As stated by the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission:
“The negative repercussions of the bill in Uganda will be immediate and severe. It effectively bans the free association and expression that are necessary for a flourishing civil society, and creates a climate of fear and hostility that undermines the citizenship and solidarity of all Ugandans. It will lend itself to misapplication and abuse, and implicitly encourages persecution of LGBT people by private actors. Effective HIV prevention activities in Uganda, which rely on an ability to talk frankly about sexuality and provide condoms and other safer-sex materials, will be difficult, if not impossible.”
We need to act on this, if not for the reasons above, then for basic human rights!
CAAH (Community Action against Homophobia)
Text of Bill:
Uganda, dismiss the Anti-Homosexuality Bill
I am writing to express concern about legislation that would severely restrict the rights of Ugandan citizens, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people and their defenders, in direct contravention of domestic and international law. The Anti-Homosexuality Bill of 2009 would not only reaffirm penalties for homosexuality, but would criminalize the “promotion of homosexuality,” including funding and sponsoring LGBT organizations and broadcasting, publishing, or marketing materials on homosexuality. Any person in authority who fails to report known violations of the law within 24 hours will also be subject to a significant fine and up to 3 years in prison – even when this means turning in their colleagues, family, or friends.
The negative repercussions of the bill in Uganda will be immediate and severe. Effective HIV prevention activities in Uganda, which rely on an ability to talk frankly about sexuality and provide condoms and other safer-sex materials, will be difficult, if not impossible.
The Anti-Homosexuality Bill violates National Objective 5(2) of the Ugandan Constitution, which provides that “the State shall guarantee and respect the independence of non-governmental organizations which protect and promote human rights.” Moreover, it directly violates the right to equality and freedom from discrimination (Article 21), the right to privacy (Article 27), the right to freedoms of speech, expression, association, and assembly (Article 29), the protection of minorities (Article 36), and the protection of civic rights and activities (Article 38) to which all Ugandans are entitled. It also violates the African Charter on Human and People’s Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and other international human rights treaties to which Uganda is a party. This bill undermines Uganda’s commitment to the international human rights regime and threatens the basic human rights of all its citizens.
The Bill’s revocation of fundamental rights would also seriously undermine the country’s reputation and credibility in the international arena. Because it claims jurisdiction over Ugandans who violate its provisions while outside of the country, the Bill will strain Uganda’s relations with regional and international partners.
While people may hold differing opinions about sexual orientation and gender identity, the legislation before Parliament is an ineffective and fundamentally illegal way to express opposition to a minority group. In recognition of the importance of a diverse, dynamic civil society and the domestic and international commitments that Uganda has made, I urge you to swiftly dismiss the Anti-Homosexuality Bill of 2009 and reaffirm the rights and responsibilities of all Ugandans.
